Farleigh State School is a quiet, rural co-educational school situated eight minutes north of Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre. We celebrated our centenary of the schools opening in 2009.
We are committed to providing learning programs that cater for the diversity of students, from those in need of learning support to the gifted and talented. Our team efforts to achieve this are supported by a dedicated team of staff members who interact closely with the students and their families.
We believe strongly in developing each individual child to his/her full potential – be it academically, physically, socially, emotionally, culturally or creatively. By our comprehensive knowledge of each child, we attempt to accomplish this end without imposing unrealistic expectations upon the learner.
Our school motto, 'United we achieve', as well as the school mission statement, 'Link learning to life' exemplifies the need for all the stakeholders in the educational process (teachers, parents, community, children) to work harmoniously together to ensure quality education prevails at our campus.
As a learning community we are committed to being up to date with educational innovation yet combine this with our programs that are tried and successful. We endeavour to make learning exciting for all our students.
You can also be involved in any number of ways that will directly or indirectly benefit your child and the school. As a P&C member, classroom helper, tuckshop volunteer or some other committee member, you are making a valuable contribution to your child’s education and positively affecting it.
