The school provides opportunities for children to experience different forms of physical activity, to recognise the value of physical fitness in maintaining health and well-being, and to develop the necessary physical and social skills for lifelong participation in physical activities.
A physical education teacher visits the school once per week.
Our program also provides opportunities for children to learn about how to practise desirable health behaviours, to demonstrate health skills, and to develop responsibility for personal and social health.
During fourth term, the school focuses on swimming with all children attending lessons for ten weeks. A certificate of achievement is awarded to all children on completion of levels attained.
