Farleigh State School has a 'no homework' policy. Research clearly indictaes that homework in primary schools has very little impact on improving education outcomes in primary aged children, thus we have no set homework. However, we do ask that children read every day of the week for at least 15-20 minutes and complete a 'reading log' that is checked each day at school. We strongly belive that reading is the keystone of all learning and you can only improve your reading if you practice!
